Welcome New ASA Member

I'm pleased to announce a new member to the Association of Struggling Authors (ASA).

Trumpets please!

She is Ms. Cheryl Hagedorn! Cheryl comes to us from the great state of Illinois up around Chicago way. She writes mysteries and the real mystery is why she read my blog in the first place!

So, that brings our total ASA membership, not counting me, up to .... One!

So, all of you struggling authors out there, are you going to let Cheryl be the lone member, or are you going to step up and join her (and me) in the ASA pledge:

I, (your name here), solemnly swear to keep trying to get my writing published. I will allow myself only the briefest moment of self-pity after receiving a rejection and each rejection, no matter how cruel or form-letterish, will only serve to strengthen my resolve to be a published author.

I will persevere. I will fight. I will be published!
